- Gladys Marolyn Krammes, 84, of Easton, formerly of Harrisburg and Reading, passed away Saturday at Praxis Alzheimer's facility, Easton.
Born Aug. 5, 1931, in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Wellington and Lizzie Hafer Lamm and Mary Noecker Lamm, second wife of Wellington.
Gladys had been employed at Tyco, Harrisburg, for 10 years, and then at Dauphin County Social Services for Children and Youth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanford M. Krammes, on Feb. 26, 2011; two sisters, Edna Ochs and Margaret Lamm.
Surviving are a daughter, Deborah Long, Reading; two stepsons, Mark Krammes and wife, Mary Ann, and Martin Krammes and wife, Cindy, both of Pine Grove; two stepdaughters, Melanie, wife of Mike Miller, York Haven, and Mary Beth Billow, North Carolina; two sisters, Sally Jerdan, Somers Point, N.J., and Ellen Heckard, Robesonia; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lester and Janet Krammes, Pine Grove.
A memorial service was held at H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, with Pastor Ron Murhon Sr. officiating. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
