- Mrs. W.S. Weaver (Leota),
1003 S. Hamilton St., Delphi,
passed away at Home Hospital at
Lafayette Monday, July 19, 1976,
after a short illness.
Born February 25, 1915, at
Bluffton, she was the daughter of
Ora and Ethel Bayless Lamm. In
May, 1940, she married Winfield
(Winnie) S. Weaver of Bluffton.
Mrs. Weaver was a member of
die United Methodist Church of
Delphi and Psi Iota Xi Sorority.
She graduated from Rock
Creek High School in Wells
County and Manchester College.
She had taught in several
schools, including Burrows,
Camden, Hillcrest and Pittsburg
in Carroll County.
Surviving with the husband are
two daughters, Martha Kaye of
Honolulu, Hawaii, and Mary, at
home; one son, Dix, Rt. 2,
Delphi; one brother, Rex Lamm,
of Fort Wayne and two sisters,
Opal Marie Lamm of Fort Wayne
and Mrs. Vadas Golden of
Ligonier.
Funeral Service will be
Thursday at 2 p.m. at the United
Methodist Church in Delphi with
Rev. Donald Ashley officiating.
Burial will be in Masonic
Cemetery. There will be no
visitation hours.
Memorial contributions may
be made to the Carroll County
Heart Fund, c-o Mrs. Paul Quick,
600 Riley Road, Delphi, or Alpha
Phi Cardiac Fund, Leota Weaver
