- Mildred (Lamm) Weaver,95, beloved wife of the late Merritt C. "Lefty" Weaver for sixty- four years, passed away Saturday morning in her residence in Temple. Mildred was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Mamie (Shower) Lamm.
Survivors include children: Richard Merritt Weaver and wife, Joan, of Leesport, Beverly A. Reber of Riverview Park, and Patricia M. Weaver of Leesport; grandchildren: Richard A. Weaver and wife Alice, and Michael J. Weaver and wife Jena, Amy S. (Reber) Bowman and husband, Nicholas, and Melissa L. (Reber) Katchur and husband, Shawn; great-grandchildren: Nathan Weaver, Austin Katchur, Dylan Weaver, Hailey Katchur, Lance Weaver, Brody Bowman, Braydon Weaver, Mason Weaver, Landon Weaver, and Hadley Weaver.
Mildred is predeceased by her siblings, Norman, Clarence, and Earl Lamm and Annie (Lamm) Strunk.
Mildred was a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ in Tuckerton.
In her earlier years she was employed by the Berkshire Knitting Mills and later retired from Western Electric-AT&T following thirty-five years of service.
Mildred enjoyed playing cards, traveling to the casinos, solving puzzles, crocheting, and playing farkle. Mildred loved vacationing in Hawaii with her late husband Merritt and vacationing in Wildwood with her family.
Mildred was a loving mother to her children, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren.
A viewing will take place in the Milkins Trymbiski Funeral Home, 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple on Friday, September 1st from 6 until 8 PM. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, September 2nd at 10 AM with a viewing from 9 until 10 AM in the funeral home. Reverend Linda Kozlowski will officiate the funeral service. Interment will follow the service in Good Shepherd Cemetery in Tuckerton.
