Roy A. Bomberger, 83, of 819 Hilltop Road, Myerstown, died Tuesday, November 21, 2006, at The Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, Pa. He was the husband of Ruth E. (Lamm) Bomberger to whom he was married 58 years on July 2. Born in Myerstown, Pa., on December 2, 1922, son of the late Abraham A. and Mary B. (Bucher) Bomberger. He was a 1941 graduate of Schaefferstown High school and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was employed as an electrician at Sherk Electric, Myerstown, Pa., for more than 30 years retiring in 1985. He was a member of Myerstown UCC. In addition to his wife he is survived by, daughter, Marie R Hibshman, Richland; son, Carl R., husband of Cybil Bomberger of Muncey, Pa.; sister, Sallie Bachman of Neffsville, Pa.; three grandsons; one granddaughter; two great-granddaughters; three nephews. Services are private at the convenience of the family. Grose Funeral Home, Myerstown, is in charge of arrangements. (Lebanon Daily News - Nov 22, 2006)
