- Annie H. Staudt, 89, formerly of Lower Heidelberg Township, died Aug. 3, 2007, at 10:50 a.m. in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center, Wernersville, where she had been a resident since Dec. 9, 2004. She previously was a resident of Phoebe Berks Village Commons, since Jan. 19, 2001.
She was the wife of the late Kermit B. Staudt, who died Feb. 9, 2003.
Born in Lower Heidelberg Township on Jan. 4, 1918, she was a daughter of the late David H. and Mary R. (Graeff) Himmelreich.
She was employed as a secretary for attorney Llewellyn Bingaman, Reading.
Annie was a 1936 graduate of Wilson High School, and was a 1938 graduate of McCann Business School, Reading.
She was a member of St. John's (Hain's) United Church of Christ, Wernersville, where she was a member of the choir, a former Sunday school teacher, former secretary of the Sunday school, and the former Women's Guild president.
Annie survived by three sons: David A. Staudt, Sinking Spring; Daniel K. Staudt, Wernersville; and Peter L. Staudt, Robesonia.
Other survivors include a sister, Thelma (Himmelreich) Bollinger, Wernersville.
There are also four grandchildren: Jennifer D. Staudt, Rebecca A. Staudt, Matthew P. Staudt and Stephen D. Staudt.
She was precedeceased by a daughter, Joanne Marie Staudt.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. John's (Hain's) United Church of Christ, 591 N. Church Road, Wernersville. Burial will follow in Hain's Church Cemetery. Friends may call for a visitation with the family on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until time of service in the church.
