- Geneva P. Staudt, 91, formerly of Robesonia, died Friday at 9:03 a.m. in the emergency room at Reading Hospital.
She was taken there from Phoebe Personal Care, Wernersville, where she had resided since June 1995.
Her husband, Calvin H. Staudt, died Aug. 18, 1970.
Born in North Heidelberg Township, she was a daughter of the Calvin and Elmira (Speicher) Heister.
Staudt was employed 20 years as a sewing machine operator by Gloray Knitting Mill, Robesonia, retiring in 1971.
She was a member of St. John's (Hain's) United Church of Christ, Wernersville.
Staudt was a charter member of the auxiliary of Citizens Hose Company, Wernersville.
She was a former secretary of Patriotic Order of American Camp 62, Wernersville.
Surviving are two daughters, Geneva E. (Staudt) Brune, Rochelle, Ill., and Sandra S. (Staudt) Yost, Highlands Ranch, Colo., and four sons: Calvin C., Dike, Iowa; Kenneth L., Daytona Beach, Fla.; Bryan H., Robesonia; and Curtis H., Lynnport, Lehigh County.
Other survivors include 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 1:20 p.m. in Lamm & Witman Funeral Home Inc., Wernersville. Burial will be in Hain's Church Cemetery, Lower Heidelberg Township.
