  12 Dec 1974: Susan Schaeffer Boyer. wife of William M. Boyer, Lebanon RD 3, died last evening at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was 62. A daughter of the late Adam and Louisiana Gerhart Schaeffer, she was retired from the Northern Lebanon School District where she had been employed as a cafeteria worker. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Fredericksburg, where she had been superintendent of the Adult Sunday School Class for many years. She was also a member of Lutheran Church Women, Spang Crest Auxiliary, the Fredericksburg Fire Co. Auxiliary and the Fredericksburg Lionettes. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Louise, wife of Robert C. Greeninger, Fredericksburg; two sons, Peter, Sinking Spring, and David, Grove City: a brother. Adam H. Jr., Wernersville RD 3: two sisters, Mary, wife of Richard Miller, Wernersville, and Grace, wife of Harry Boyer, Lebanon RD 2, and three grandchildren. [Lebanon Daily News]
