- Esther Marie Sweigart, 90, of Lititz, passed away on March 14, 2017, at The Gardens at Lititz.
Esther was born Warwick Township to Paul and Minnie (Ravegum) Grumbling on November 19, 1926. She was married to Charles L. Sweigart, Sr. Esther worked as an inspector and folder for Atlas Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1990. She was a lifelong member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church of Rothsville, PA.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles, two sisters and her son-in-law David Weinhold
Surviving Esther are three children, Charles Sweigart, Jr., husband of Mary Ann (Adams), Martha Weinhold and Lester Sweigart, husband of Susan (Amand), all of Lititz, PA. Additionally surviving are six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Esther is also survived by two siblings, Mary S. Garber of Ephrata, PA and Henry Grumbling of Lititz, PA
A time of visitation will be held Sunday evening March 19, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Paul L. Gravenor Home For Funerals, 100 W. Main Street, Ephrata, PA. There will be additional calling hours on Monday, March 20, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00, officiated by the Reverend Bonnie M. Oplinger. Burial at Rothsville Lutheran Cemetery will follow the service.
