| Donald R. Lesher, 73, of Denver, entered into rest unexpectedly on Friday, October 12, 2007. Born in Adamstown, he was a son of the late Roy and Florence (Fritz) Lesher. Donald and his wife, Arlene M. (Trostle) Lesher, celebrated 52 years of marriage on September 10. He was a retired Tile-Setter. He was a member of Peace U.C.C., Swartzville, where he was a former member of Church Council, and served on the committee during the construction of the church. He laid much of the stone on and in the church. He was member of the Bricklayer's Union, a former Scoutmaster, a graduate of E. Cocalico High School in 1950 and served in the US Army. Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 sons; 5 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; and 3 brothers, all of Denver. The Memorial Service will be on Monday at 7:00 PM in Peace U.C.C., 37 E. Swartzville Rd., Denver, PA 17517 with the Rev. William Hoch officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
