Ronald G. Hackman - 66, of Harleysville, PA; formerly of Telford, PA entered into rest on Thursday, March 1, 2012.
He was the loving husband to Lila R. Hackman for 42 years.
He was born to the late John S. and Iva (Godshall) Hackman.
Ron was employed as a Salesman for Bergey's Tire for 42 years. He enjoyed bowling, tennis, riding his motorcycle, gardening, camping, going to the beach and the mountains with his family and spending time with his grandchildren. Ron was a member of Indian Creek Church of the Brethren.
In addition to his wife, Lila, he is survived by his two daughters; Dawn Bergey & husband, Duane of Gilbertsville, PA and Diana Daigle & husband, Paul of Media, PA; his two brothers; Wesley Hackman & wife, Lucy of Mansfield, OH & David Hackman & wife, Deborah of Marlton, NJ; his four sisters; Joyce Corcoran of Cleveland, GA, Arlene Hackman of Morgantown, PA, Jane Hobson & husband, Jack of Medford, NJ; Margie Adison & husband, Paul of Medford, NJ; his brother-in-law, John Lee of Cherry Hill, NJ and 6 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sally Lee.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Indian Creek Church of the Brethren, 821 Main St, Harleysville, Pennsylvania 19438 where friends may meet with the family following the service.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
