Eva P. (Shinkle) Kleinsmith, 92, of Reinholds, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014 at the Reading Hospital. She was the wife of the late Harold A. "Hal" Kleinsmith who died Oct. 19, 2005.
Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a daughter of Henry P. and Eva G. (Ford) Shinkle.
She was an Army Veteran, having served in WWII.
For many years she enjoyed making crafts, painting scenes, and reading. She was full of fun and well loved by family members and friends.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandra L. wife of Terry L. Lutz, Reinholds; a brother, Henry Shinkle husband of Shirley, Orlando, FL; a sister, Ruth wife of Robert Pivovarnick, Hamilton Square, NJ; five grandchildren, Cathy, Connie, Cindy, Scott, and Tami Jo; eight great grandchildren; a great great grandchild; and nine nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie L. Kleinsmith who died Feb. 26, 2004.
Services will be held at 10:30AM, Monday, Sept. 15, at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville, with Pastor Jennifer Dee officiating. Family and Friends are invited to call from 9:30-10:30AM, Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
