"Isaac B. Zwally
Isaac B. Zwally, age 82 years, oldest resident of Akron died early Tuesday at the home of his son, Elmer, Reading. Mr. Zwally was for many years a tax collector of the borough, retiring a few weeks ago.
He was twice married. Both his wives are dead. The following children survive: Addison of Brownstown; Mrs. Israel Adams of Akron, both children of his first wife; Carpenter Zwally of Akron, and Elmer of Reading, of the second wife.
Thirteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters also survive: Christian Zwally, Akron; Jacob Zwally, Mechanicsburg; Daniel Zwally, Rothsville; Samuel Zwally, Elizabeth, N. J., Susan, wife of Virgil Stauter, Akron. He was a member of the Knights of the Golden Eagles. Funeral services will be held privately from his late home, Saturday morning at 10 o'clock with further services at 10:30 o'clock in the Lutheran Church, Akron. Burial will be made in the adjoining cemetery."
