• Notes

  Ralph David Simpson's parents were William Xanther Simpson (1859-1927) and Mary Elizabeth Parsons (1861-1936). Ralph married during depression and had difficulty with using his education and finding jobs. About 1930, he and family moved in with his mother in Tacoma, WA. It was a very crowded small home. He taught German and English at Stadium High School in Tacoma for the rest of his career. He and his wife, Myra Ford (1892-1965) had 4 children, 9 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
