  California Death Certificate: 11504 Spouse: Lois Dickinson Profession: Actor - TV and Motion Picture Appeared in multiple John Wayne movies US Army WWI veteran. Enlisted 25 June 1918 in Los Angeles, California and reported to Camp Kearny, then transferred to Supply Company 114 FA. Sailed for foreign duty on 19 August 1918 on the Steamship Oxfordshire, then returned home and landed at New York. Honorably discharged at the Presidio, San Francisco at the rank of Private on 23 January 1919.
