  Helen A. (née Hoyer) Breneman, 96, of Denver, formerly of Mohnton, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018 in the Colonial Lodge Community in Denver. Born in Mohnton, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Erma (Schlicter) Hoyer. Helen was a 1940 graduate of the former Mohnton High School. She graduated from McCann Business School in Reading and from the Reading Hospital School of Nursing. She retired after thirty years of employment as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Reading Hospital. Helen was a former member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Mohnton. She was a member of the Golden Agers. Helen enjoyed traveling, gardening, canning, and speaking fluent Pennsylvania Dutch. She was a loving mother, who was caring and giving to all in need, while asking nothing in return. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband: Lewis R. Breneman who died on July 05, 2001; and, her sister: Lavern Straub. She is survived by her sons: Tom husband of Pamela Breneman of Wernersville and Robert Breneman of Denver; her granddaughter: Carlee, wife of David Beck, of Collegeville; her grandson: Jason Breneman of Adamstown; her step-grandson: Jesse Reitz of Wyomissing; and, her great-granddaughter: Sylvia Beck. Funeral Service and Interment will be private. Inurnment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Friday, April 08, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home, Mohnton
