  Warren A. Meckley, 89, formerly of Sinking Spring, died February 18, 2011, of natural causes at the River-woods Nursing Home in Lewisburg, Pa. His wife, Catherine L. Meckley, died in 1980. Born in Fritztown, he was the son of the late Alvin and Bertha (Rentz) Meckley. Warren served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Philippines. He was employed as a foreman at the Wilson Corp. in Reading for many years until retiring . He was a former member of the Sinking Spring Fire Company. He is survived by a daughter, Barbara A., wife of Sidney Bollinger, with whom he resided in Mifflinburg, Pa.; a sister, Esther Krick, Clearwater, Fla.; two grandchildren, Daryle Bollinger and Bonnie Haas; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Lamm & Witman Funeral Home Inc., Wernersville, with Pastor John Duty officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant View Cemetery.
