- Stouchsburg, Aug. 23--Oscar I. Manbeck, 49, of Womelsdorf R.D.1, near here, died last night in the Lancaster General Hospital of injuries suffered in a traffic accident earlier in the day, when the truck he was driving was involved in a collision near Lititz.
His son, Harold, riding with him, was uninjured. Manbeck, a local farmer and trucker, was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and Sunday School at Host, was active in its auxiliary groups, and was a member of Marion Grange here.
In addition to his son, and his parents, Oscar I. and Leah (Troutman) Manbeck, of Womelsdorf, he is survived by his widow, Lillian (Kramer) Manbeck.
Three daughters: Anna, wife of George K. Troutman, and Vivian, wife of Harold Gerhart, both of Womelsdorf R. D. 1, and Mary, wife of Herbert Zechman, Myerstown.
Also three sisters: Julia, wife of Charles Grimes, Womelsdorf; Mary, wife of Harold Troutman, Bernville R.D.1, and Frieda, wife of Carl Keppley, Womelsdorf R. D. 1, and three brothers: J. Adam, of Schenectady, N.Y., and Elias and George, both of Womelsdorf R.D. 1.
Arrangements are in charge of the Danner Funeral Home, Womelsdorf.
