Samuel H. Isenberg
Samuel H. Isenberg of Alexandria, a veteran of World War I. died in the veterans hospital at Butler on Saturday, June 25, 1949, at 10:45 a.m. He had been a patient In the hospital since June 9.
He was born in Blair County on August 19, 1899, a son of Marshall and Clara (Cozzens) Isenberg, both deceased.
He was of the Reformed faith.
A veteran of World War I, he served as a private in Company L of the 317th Infantry from April 2, 1918, until May 15, 1919.
He resided in Huntingdon County practically, all his life.
Surviving are one brother, Alfred Isenberg, and one sister, Mrs, Elizabeth Burkett, both of Tyrone.
Funeral services will be held in the Temple funeral home at Petersburg on Tuesday at 2:30 p. m. The Rev. O. H. Sensenig will officiate. Interment will be made in the Alexandria Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p. m. this Monday evening.
