Leola J. Kohl, 81, a resident of the Beverly Manor Nursing Home, Exeter Township, died Sunday morning in St. Joseph Hospital.
She was the widow of LeRoy F. Kohl, who died in 1981.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Joseph F. and Jemima C. (Boyer) LeVan.
She was a member of Schwartzwald United Church of Christ, Jacksonwald.
Employed by the former Standard Paper and Box Co., Reading, for 20 years, she then had been employed by Mary's Dog House, St. Lawrence, for five years before her retirement in 1960.
She is survived by two sons: Kenneth L., Mohnton R.D. 2, and Sherwood S., Reading.
Three daughters: Betty J., wife of Ronald Dague, Sinking Spring R.D. 6; Gloria A., wife of Howard Reinert, Temple; and Joyce L., wife of Charles Hinnershitz, Mount Penn, and 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Also a brother, Harrison LeVan, Shartlesville, and two sisters, Florence Heister, Lititz, and Hazel Behm, Reading.
Theo C. Auman Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
