  Lancaster newspaper clipping, unknown date: "Josephine G. Hackman Josephine G. Young Hackman, 71, of 330 Southview Drive, Ephrata, formerly of Rothsville, died Sunday in Lancaster General Hospital after a brief illness. A homemaker, Mrs. Hackman was a former employee of Hamilton Watch Cp. and the former Lititz Processing Hoisery Mill. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Rothsville, where she had been a Sunday school teacher. She was a former Girl Scout leader and enjoyed bird watching. Born in Rothsville she was the daughter of the late Elroy G. and Ruth Myer Young. She was the wife of Charles S. Hackman who died in 1990. Surviving are a son, Michael C., husband of Sally Cranshaw Hackman, of Ephrata; a daughter, Trudy A., wife of Patrick J. McQuate, with whom she resided; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clyde L., husband of Maxine Iwasnoski, of Ephrata and the Rev. Harold M. Young of Neffsville; and two sisters, Myrtle R. Doble of Ephrata and Ethel M., wife of Robert L. Horst, of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Earl Young."
