  Mrs. Kate Wagner, widow of Daniel G. Wagner, died Monday evening at the home of a son, Allen P. Wagner, at Shirksville. The deceased had been in failing health for three years. A complication of diseases was attributed as the cause of death. She was a member of Goshert's Lutheran Church, Mt. Zion and was well known in the Shirksville region. She was aged 74 years. Besides the son Allen P. Wagner, the following survive: three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one sister, Belle Loser, of Cornwall. [Lebanon Daily News, Tuesday July 17, 1934]
