- Lucille I. Ohlinger, 78, of Centerport, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 28th, in her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Levi Fishburn and Verna (Oxenreider) Fishburn.
She was a member of Christ Little Tulpehocken Church in Jefferson Twp. She was employed by the Reading Hospital for thirty-six years.
She was member of the Centerport Lions Club, Mt. Pleasant Fire Co., Central Berks Fire Co. and Shoemakersville Fire Co.
She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling to the casinos, bus trips, gardening, bird watching and feeding birds.
Surviving are several nephews: George, Gerald, Edward and Brian. Also, several nieces: Marilyn, Carolyn, Janice, Christine, Shirley, Mary, Grace, Diane and Kathy.
She is predeceased by a niece, Lisa, and brothers, Clarence, LeRoy and Richard Fishburn. Her pet dog, "Buddy," also passed away with her.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 3rd, at 10:30 a.m. in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, 206 N. Main St., Bernville, with Rev. James Snyder officiating. Viewings will be held in the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow in Christ Little Tulpehocken Church Cemetery.
