- Levi D. Fishburn, 80, died today at 6:55 a.m. in his Mohrsville R.D. 1 residence.
Born in Potter's Mills, Centre County, he was a son of the late Harry E. and Pera A. (Stump) Fishburn.
He was a farmer, retiring in 1971, and was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of Little Tulpehocken Union Church, Jefferson Township; Central of Berks Fire Company, Mohrsville, and the Bernville Fire Company.
His wife, Verna M. (Oxenreider) Fishburn, preceded him in death, Jan. 17, 1973.
Surviving are three sons: Clarence C., and Richard K., both of Mohrsville R.D. 1, and Leroy G., Wernersville R.D. 3; a daughter, Lucille I. Ohlinger, Mohrsville R.D. 1; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Also a brother, Edward A., Youngstown, Ohio, and a sister, Mary, wife of George Showers, Julian R.D. 1, Centre County.
Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m., in the Little Tulpehocken Church, the Rev. W. Keith Bowie officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. The Kirkhoff Funeral Home Inc., Bernville, is in charge of arrangements.
