Wilhelm is my 6th great-grandfather and immigrant ancestor from Germany. This memorial is to correct a false memorial for him that names him William LUDWIG (there was never a Ludwig fisher in our entire family history), so his relatives can see the truth, not badly researched "facts" that they claim to have documentation for (they do not). I have in my possession what amounts to every publicly available record pertaining to his life and death. He arrived in the USA on board the ship Samuel along with his cousin Henrich on Aug. 17th 1733. There is a memorial plaque documenting his important and influential family at the cemetery. He married Elisabetha Gertraut Hahn, daughter of the famous founder of St. John's, Georg Hahn. They had 11 children: Johannes (my 5th g-gfather), Philip ( 6th g-gfather, don't ask), Peter, Henrich, Michael, Susanna, Rosina, Frantz, Friederich, and Georg. Please contact me for any information and I will gladly provide it if I can. I have actual, documented records, including his ancestors back to 1563, original baptism, immigration, naturalization, land owned, will, estate, a book and a research paper. We have visited Langenselbold and I have a photo of his baptism record in the church register.

Gravesite Details
The family plot has a plaque documented the life of Wilhelm and his descendants. They were an important and influential family who helped found St. John's Lutheran Church. The gravestones are now weathered to almost unreadable condition.
