THE EPIDEMIC OF 1792 BURIALS OF REV. BOOS
In 1792, it seems there was an epidemic which was killing the children in Berks County. The epidemic peaked in September with Rev. Boos burying 16 children that month, and 9 in Oct. To put the deaths of the 45 children in perspective, during that year Rev Boos buried 12 adults.
A son of Valentin Moser, born 28 Feb 1791, was buried 12 Jul 1792 at age 1.4.12.
