  George Adam Geiss was a Revolutionary soldier. ------- From Findagrave visitor Rachel: The Will and estate file of George Adam Geiss is available on familysearch.org: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1971-28781-913-52?cc=1999196&wc=M99F-43N:n176258271 There is an inconsistency in that it is proved 4 March 1784, and his death date is recorded as June 1784. The death date may have been recorded wrong from the tombstone. It could very well be January 1784. Also, in the same file there are 2 petitions dated 9 Jun 1789, one by George Adam and Anna Maria Geiss, minors above the age of 14, children of the George Adam Geiss, late of Bern Township. The second one is made by Barbara Geiss, Executrix of the Will of George Adam Geiss, who had eight children, one of whom, Catharine is yet under the age of fourteen. Abraham Geiss appointed their guardian.
