- Widow of Joseph Sharples
on 26th of 1st month 1812
Daughter of Mary Chamberlin and Daniel Pyle. She was born 1 mo 31, 1723, and died 1 mo 23, 1812. She married Joseph Sharples, son of Lydia Lewis and Joseph Sharples, at Concord Friends Mtg on 4 mo 19, 1740.

Daniel, born 1745, died 1822; married Elizabeth Dicks.
Hannah, born 1747, died 1823; married Abraham Pennell.

William, born 1752, died 1805; married Mary Martin.
Mary, born 1756, died after 1838; married Morris Truman.
Amos, born 1759, died 1807; married Lydia Hill.
Nathan, born 1761, died 1829; married Rachel Pennell, Rachel (Hill) Gray, and Rachel (Preston) Simmons.
Benjamin, born 1764, died 1857; married Hannah Bonsall.
Jonathan, born 1767, died 1860; married Edith Nichols and Margaret Miller.
Joseph Sharples died intestate, and Mary and their son Joseph were granted letters of administration on February 25, 1769.
Mary Sharples and others were appointed in 1777 to discourage "the too frequent use of spirituous liquors, and to visit those who kept taverns in order to prevail with them to decline the business." Mary Sharples probably died at the home of son-in-law, Abraham Pennell.
