- Sara E. (Eddinger) Fillman, 84, of N. York Street, Pottstown, wife of Robert Z. Fillman, died Monday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center
Born in West Pottsgrove Twp., PA, she was a daughter of the late Laura (Moore) Eddinger and Harry Eddinger.
She was a 1940 graduate of Boyertown High School. She was a seamstress for the former Lincoln Underwear Co. for twenty four years retiring in 1986, she also worked for the former Melbrook Underwear Co. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Pottstown. She was a member of the Manatawny Association Ladies Auxillary where she was past president, member of Moose Lodge Ladies Auxillary, Pottstown, Veterans of Foriegn Wars Post #780 Ladies Auxillary, Pottstown, West End Fire Company, Stowe, and Knights of Columbus, Stowe.
Surviving beside her husband are two sons Ronald K. husband of Laurie Fillman, Pottstown, Robert M. husband of Judy Fillman, Allentown; a daughter Judy A. wife of Raymond Sedmak, Andover, OH; two brothers Douglas Eddinger, Douglassville; Laris Eddinger, Stowe; two sisters Mildred wife of Raymond Wolfe, Boyertown, Wanda wife of John Brower, Stowe; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Friday from Highland Memorial Park 701 Farmington Avenue, Pottstown. Officiating will be Reverend Burlington Latshaw III. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. There will be a viewing Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory 359 King Street, Pottstown and Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home.
