  From The Palmer (Nebraska) Journal, July 16, 1959, page 1, transcribed by Linda Berney: Goldie Morris Otstott, Horace, Kans., Dies Mrs. Jess Otstott, 48, the former Goldie Morris, died Wednesday in a Greeley County, Kansas, hospital after being ill for several months with cancer. Her sister, Edythe Tolorich, also passed away as the result of cancer 3 years ago. Mrs. Otstott was born December 2, 1910 at Central City, Nebraska. She had lived in Greeley County, Kansas for about the past 15 years, and was depot agent for the Missouri Pacific railroad for a time at Tribune, Marienthal and Modoc, Kansas. Previously she and her husband spent 16 years in stock show productions "all over the Mid-West." Mr. and Mrs. Otstott have been living in Horace for some years where he is employed as operator at the Missouri Pacific station. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Dean Higgins of Salina, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Morris of Denver, Colo., and by 2 grandchildren, Jessie and Robert Bennett, other relatives and a host of friends.
