  Bardstown's Kentucky Standard, 26 Jul 1962: David Augustus Ritchie, one day old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe L. Ritchie, 401 Halstead Ave., Bardstown, born Thursday July 19 at Flaget Hospital, died Friday. An autopsy showed the lungs had collapsed. Services were held at St Joseph Church Friday afternoon at three o'clock with interment following in St Joseph Cemetery. The baby is survived by three brothers and sisters; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Ritchie and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Edelen of Corydon, Indiana. Mr. and Mrs. Ritchie and family returned to Bardstown about two months ago, after living in New Albany for some time.
