  Michael F. Swinehart, 92, died October 25. He was born Nov. 5, 1915 in Richville, Minn. He was a member of St. Paul's Moore Memorial United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII as Second Lieutenant, Medical Administrative Corps. He was an agent for Nationwide Insurance for 17 years, worked with AARP for several years, was active in Red Cross programs, and a member of The Ohio State University Alumni Association. Preceded in death by his wife, Tilly A.; and son-in-law, Bill. Survived by son, Michael M.; daughter, Karen L. Wands; former daughter-in-law, Sheryl; grandchildren, Todd and Stacie; step grandchildren, David Wands and Tamy (Chad) Elwell; three step great-grandchildren; and brother, Harley (Marge) Swinehart. Funeral services were Wednesday at Cox Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave., with Dr. Rev. Michael Somerville officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Family received friends Tuesday.
