  Elma M. Pownall, 93, of New Providence went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 8, 2014. Elma was born in Little Britain where her parents owned and operated the general store. She was the wife of the late Lester Pownall. She was a lifelong member of Little Britain Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two sons along with six grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marti. There will be a celebration of Elma's life that will be announced at a future date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Dewald Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. in Quarryville.
