  Jeanette J. (Mack) Papendick, 81, previously of Midland, died Wednesday evening, August 17, 2011 at Gull Arbor Senior Living in Richland. She was born July 3, 1930 in Edmore, the daughter of Orlo and Lucy (Johnson) Mack. She married Donald Papendick on November 19, 1949 and they were active the Midland community for more than forty-five years before moving to Battle Creek. Mrs. Papendick is survived by one daughter, Gloria Fisher of Geneva, Illinois, and five sons, Alan (Diane) of Midland, Lyle (Kris) of Fairplay, Colorado, Leon of Richland, Keith (Cindy) of Battle Creek, Greg (Ping) of Corunna; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother and three sisters. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2011 from the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Chapel, 1200 West Wheeler Street. Rev. Chuck Lloyd of the Midland Free Evangelical Free Church will officiate with private graveside burial rites in Richland Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
