  Daily Local News, West Chester, Chester County, Pa September 2, 1882 Sudden Death- Mr. Jesse Moore, who resided in Thorndale with his son-in-law, Mr. Thomas Smith, died very suddenly on Thursday afternoon, August 31st. It is thought that affection (sic) of the heart was the cause of death. The deceased was present at the temperance meeting held in Thorndale on the Thursday evening before his death. His sudden demise was a great shock to his relatives and the community. MOORE- In Thorndale, Chester County, on August 31st, Jesse Moore, in the 73d year of his age. Funeral on Sunday, September 3d, to meet at the house of Thomas Smith at 1 o'clock. Interment at Fairview Cemetery.
