- Services for Mrs. Lillian Boltz, 39, of 1381 Main St., Shoemakersville, who was killed in a head-on crash Thursday night on the Pottsville Pike, will be arranged by the Burkey & Spacht Funeral Home, Hamburg. Last employed at Horn's Diner, Shoemakersville, Mrs. Boltz was a daughter of the late Milton D. and Sallie R. (Miller) Adam. A Sunday school teacher at Zion United Church of Christ, Perry Township, she was a member of Blue Mountain Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, and the auxiliaries to the Shoemakersville Fire Co. and the Order of Independent Americans, Hamburg. In addition to her husband, Walter R. Boltz, and son, Steven Boltz, she is survived by another son, Ronald L., with the U.S. Marine Corps at San Diego, Calif.; four brothers: Morris L. Adam, Shoemakersville R.D. 1; Lester C. Adam, Wernersville; Warren C. Adam, Hamburg, and Allen D. Adam, Shoemakersville. Eight sisters: Esther E., wife of Elmer DeLong; Sarah L., wife of Larry Krick, and Jean M., wife of David Simmons, all of Shoemakersville; Mrs. Verna E. Fry and Mrs. Ada S. DeLong, both of Hamburg; Amy, wife of Calvin Seip, Blandon; Pauline L., wife of Samuel Kline, Orefield, and Edith C., wife of Raymond Geschwindt, Mohrsville.
