  OBITUARY: Mrs. Ruth Hoy Dies Yesterday, Funeral Friday Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Hoy, 41, of Starr Rd, Cortland, RD 3, died Monday in Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Md. She was the wife of Carl M. Hoy who survives. Mrs. Hoy was born in Millersburg, Pa., April 1, 1924, daughter of Roy and Dora Hoy Heinbaugh. She was a member of North Presbyterian Church and the Women's Association of the church, the YWCA and Peppy Owls home demonstration unit. Mrs. Hoy had been a resident Cortland for the past 20 years. Surviving in addition to her husband are two brothers, Theodore of Baltimore and Lee Heinbaugh of Millersburg, Pa., two sisters, Mrs. George Kreisher of Baltimore and Mrs. Cerene Paul of Alaska; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Beard Memorial Home, Cortland, the Rev. Richard A. DeMott of First Presbyterian Church officiating.
