- Robesonia, Nov. 22--Mary Ellen (Katterman), wife of James J. Noecker, died of complications on Friday at her home in North Heidelberg township, two miles northeast of this borough. She was aged 62 years and 9 months. Mrs. Noecker was in ill health for the past year and was confined to bed several months. She was a member of St. John's Reformed Church, Host, and St. Daniel's (Corner) Sunday School, this borough. Deceased was a daughter of the late Emanuel and Silviana (Fisher) Katterman. Besides her husband there survive these children: Lizzie, wife of George Fromm, Orwigsburg; Eva, wife of James Gable, Palmyra; Amy, wife of William Mellinger, Mohrsville R. D. 1; Katie, Reading; Ralph, Bernville; George, Mary, Cora and Harvey, at home; also 10 grandchildren and one sister, Annie, wife of Frank Merkey, Bernville R.D. 3.
Funeral Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the house. Further services in St. John's Church, Host. Rev. Frank W. Ruth, Bernville, and Rev. Harry P. Miller, Womelsdorf, officiating. Interment in adjoining cemetery. Funeral Director H. S. Kirkhoff, Bernville, has charge.
