  buried Aug 1, 1778. Son of Hans Valentine Ranck and Margaretha Philippe. Immigrated to US in Aug 1728 landing at Pennsylvania, aboard the british ship The Mortonhouse. And his brother Johan Philip Ranck, came 1yr later. Some accounts state he was married in Germany, some say he and his bride married in the US. Either way, his bride was Anna Barbara Schwab, daughter of Hans Schwab and Anna Hammer. Johan Michael Ranck and Anna Barbara Schwab had 10 known children together.
