  Howard was the son of Blanche (nee Oechsle) and Charles Seibold. His parents died when he was five. His siblings were: Harry, Rose (died at age six), Alfred, Helen, and Robert. He went to Lutheran Orphan's Home and Asylum in Philadelphia with two of his brothers, Alfred and Robert. His Sister, Helen, went to Carson College for Orphan Girls in Philadelphia, PA. Howard got out when was 14 to work on a farm. He married Edna Loreen on October 12, 1935. They had three children, Doris, Helen and Kent and had foster children over the years. Howard was a World War II veteran. He was drafted around age 35 and served in the Army a few years. Howard was an avid hunter & loved clamming at the shore, fished, loved to cook, was an avid gardener, raised his own vegetables. He was a jokester and always gave things away to people. He used to stop on his rounds with veggies from the garden to also give bones to certain dogs. He was very good at raising flowers, mostly rose bushes. He loved animals, always had Beagles or Brittanys. He was a part-time policeman in North Coventry Township, Pa and was a Constable which took him different places in Pa. He retired from the former Bethlehem Steel Co. in Pottstown, PA and also worked part-time for the former A & P grocery store in Pottstown as a butcher for many years. He attended Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Pottstown and was very active in sports there; bowling and baseball. He played baseball with Brownbacks Church in Spring City for many years, until he was 70. He got his nickname "Sox" from playing baseball most of his adult life. He and his Sister, Helen, were very close. He enjoyed visiting his brother, Alfred in NJ & enjoyed visits from his brother Robert. He found his oldest brother, Harry after 25 years. He had 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren when he passed away. Cause of Death: Cancer Special thanks to Colleen Maherfanelli for taking a photo of Howard's gravestone.
