- Raymond R. Rank, 88, died Sept. 21 at 4:25 PM in his South Heidelberg Twp. residence.
He was the husband of Alma M. (McFee) Rank.
Born in Robesonia, he was the son of the late Robert R. and Florence S. (Groff) Rank.
He was employed by Berkshire Knitting Mills, Wyomissing prior to WWII.
He was last employed for 25 years as a Salesman by Herb Motors, Wernersville, retiring in 1979.
He received many awards for top sales and sold more than 10,000 vehicles during his career.
He was an Army veteran of WWII and received the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal with four Bronze Stars, American Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
He was a 1935 graduate of Wernersville High School and attended two years at McCann's Business School, Reading.
He was a member of St.
John's (Hain's) U.C.C., Wernersville, where he was a former Deacon and Consistory member.
He was a 50 year member of Williamson Lodge #307 F.andA.M., Womelsdorf.
He was a life member of Lebanon Valley Sportsman's Assoc., South Heidelberg Twp., a life member of South End Gun Club, Reading and a life member of the National Rifle Assoc.
He was also a member of the Rajah Shrine and the Scottish Rite, Reading.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by two daughters, Christine A., wife of John J.
Mroczka, Alpharetta, GA and Candy M., wife of Caleb J.
Deibert, Brownstown, Lancaster County.
Other survivors include a sister, Helen Gaul, Wernersville.
There are also three grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM from St.
John's (Hain's) U.C.C., 591 N.
Church Rd., Wernersville, PA 19565.
Interment at Hain's Church Cemetery.
Friends may call Saturday 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Church.
Masonic services will be held at the church at 9:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hain's Church Cemetery Fund, at the above address or to Berks Visiting Nurse Hospice, 1170 Berkshire Blvd., Wyomissing, PA 19610.
Lamm and Witman Funeral Home, Inc., Wernersville is handling arrangements.
